More sharks off the coast of Fort Lauderdale

Today we fished with a family from Sweden that was on vacation down here in Sunny South Florida.

We had Niclas and his wife Cealia along with their 13-year old son Oscar and their 11-year-old daughter Emma.

We started out trolling the reef with 2 planner boards down 45 feet and 3 baits on the surface.

The deep lines were getting all the bites and before we knew it we had a box full of bonitos.

Ok now that the skunk was out of the box we brought in all the trolling gear and out went the shark baits.

It wasn’t long till we seen a shark fin heading for our surface bait and before we knew it BAM we were Hooked Up.

After a good 25 min back and forth battle we got this family the first shark they had ever caught.

Niclas thanks again for bringing your family out fishing with us aboard the Hooked Up off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

As we pulled back to the dock we had David from Illinois and Pascal from Canada eager to see how their luck would pan out with some deep-sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale. At this point it seemed every one had shark fever so this after noon we went right to shark fishing and today shark fishing was good with David catching a monster silky shark and Pascal catching a hammerhead shark.

SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS are here off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.
