Today deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale started out real good fishing light tackle and catching some nice rainbow runners and blue runners.
We trolled the reef with 2 planner boards running about 45 feet deep and 3 baits on the surface looking for some king fish but the water was very clear and blue so the king fish bit was slow.
So we brought in the trolling gear and set out some live bait hopping for a sailfish or some tunas BUT DANG IT slow once aging.
So in came the live baits and off we went to fish a wreck down around 300 feet and BAM finally back in the fish again.
We got into some vermilion snapper and 1 XL Red Snapper.
