Capt Darin and Taylor had the pleasure of taking Jim and his family on a six hour charter. Having enough time to fish a few different ways they started the morning trolling north towards pompano. They caught a couple of Bonitas and two Kingfish in the 12 to 15lb range. They then wanted to try to catch something big so they set up in 350 feet with shark baits and a bottom rig. It took about 35 minutes before the Tilefish really started to bite good with some Vermillion Snapper mixed in. Having more than enough for a few good meals they ended the trip fishing some of the ship wrecks on the way back but unfortunately didn’t get anymore bites but was still a very successful trip.
