Today we had Drew and Christina aboard to celebrate Christina’s 50th B Day along with 3 others and I am so sorry to say we never did get their names. They were all down from Pittsburg and were looking forward to a little deep-sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale along with hopefully a fish fry afterwards.
So off we went trolling our way to the south.
We started catching a few bonitos and kingfish when all of a sudden we got a real good bite on one of the planner rods. After a good 5 to 10 min fight up popped this nice Wahoo for dinner.

By the end of trolling we had a nice Wahoo’ a few bonitos and a black fin tuna.

Ok we got dinner out of the way so in came the trolling gear and out went the big stuff looking for a shark of a sailfish.
It did take some waiting but at last we did get the BIG bite on one of the shark rods and the fight was on. It was a tough back and forth tug a war for a few min but sorry to say that this time the shark won and spit the hook to fight again another day. (RATS)
That’s fishing but all in all great time was had by everyone all the same.
