Trolling, Kite Fishing and Shark Fishing Fort Lauderdale

By August 9, 2014 Uncategorized 2 Comments

This morning we started out fishing with Michelle, Kristi, Steven, Chris and Bret all from parts unknown. We started out trolling the reef and caught kingfish and bonitos. Than we headed out to troll a little deeper waters and caught some black fin tunas.

As we pulled back into the dock around noon we had Marcos, Tori and Francisco all from Texas eager to give their luck a shot at some deep-sea fishing off Fort Lauderdale.

Once again we started out trolling and caught some bonitos and a barracuda.

Than we switched to kite fishing with some live baits suspended from the kites along with a shark bait set down deep.

Today it was the shark bait that paid off with a 6 foot plus bull shark.

Thanks again to all of our anglers for fishing with us today aboard the Hooked up off Fort Lauderdale.

  • First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question that
I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head
before writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my
thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips?
    Thanks!
