I can't believe it is already August and the fishing is still outstanding and we have a new mate, Fred Collins, welcome aboard the Hooked Up Fred! Our first week out this month we had Todd, Jimmy, Jerry, Terry, Don and Clarence from Dallas, Texas and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida out with us and they had fun landing 3 nice barracuda's, some bonita's and kingfish. Next out was Don and Dick from Ohio and they enjoyed catching bonita's, a couple of kingfish and a wahoo! Jason and Andy from here in Ft. Lauderdale went out with us next and they had a great day catching bonita's and a couple of nice kingfish then at the end of the week we had Brett and Jessica from Coco Beach, Florida, they were guest of George Cable from here in Ft. Lauderdale. It was Brett and Jessica's first time to go deep sea fishing and they had a great time catching 2 really nice kingfish and a bonita. Nice catch! See you next time! Our last trip of the week was Greg and Kelly from Dallas, Texas and they landed seval bonita's and kingfish! August 11 - 17, 2003
This week the bonita's and kingfish are still biting as well as some snappers and dolphin fish. Our first guests on board were Dean, Deena, Tyson and Casey from Woodland Hills, Utah and they enjoyed a morning of fishing catching 2 barracuda's, a kingfish and several snappers. That afternoon, Donny, David, Eddie and Eddie Jr. from Pembrooke Pines, Florida and New Jersey fished with us and they landed several bonita's, kingfish and dolphin fish. Next out we had a group from Italy fishing and they enjoyed a morning catching several bonita's, 2 barracuda's, a kingfish and a nice sailfish. Way to go!! Mid week we took Jim, Kenny, and Greg from Hilton Head, South Carolina out fishing and they landed several bonita's and kingfish. Late in the week we took Rocky, Jeff, Matt, Eddie, Mitch and Robert out fishing and they enjoyed their morning catching bonita's and kingfish and then Timmy, Michelle, Seth, Chris and Craig from here in Ft. Lauderdale and Montana chartered the Hooked Up and they had a blast catching kingfish and bonita's. Over the weekend Jan and friends from South Carolina went out with us and they wacked the dolphin fish, kingfish and bonita's. Great Catch!!! What a way to end the week! August 18-24, 2003
First out this week with the Hooked Up was John and Tanja from Kansas City and they caught a kingfish then we had Pete, Bob, Nikita, Jayson, Brian and Gwen from Miami and they had a great morning catching 5 dolphin fish, 3 kingfish and several bonita's. Our next trip was Ron, Taylor, Ron and Connor from Pittsburg, PA and they had a great morning catching 2 kingfish, 3 bonita's and 7 dolphin fish. That afternoon we had Dave, Donovan, and Preston from St. Paul, Minnesota out with us and they had a blast landing a kingfish, 4 bonita's and 12 dolphin fish. Way to Go Guys! At the end of the week Tahlia from Miami went out with us and just wacked the dolphin fish - Great Fishing!!! Then our last trip of the week was Joe from Davie and he landed a dolphin fish and bonita. August 25-31, 2003
The last week of fishing in August brought in more bonita's, kingfish and dolphin fish as well as a swordfish! Our first trip this week was a Corporate Charter from Ocala, Florida and they caught kingfish and bonita's. Next we took Les Walker and some friends out for an afternoon of fishing where they loaded up on the dolphin fish, to include one 50 pound bull and a 25 pound cow, then we headed off-shore for a night of swordfishing, catching one of two. Great Trip Guys!!! The next day we had a group of guys on board for a bachelor party, there were twelve of them so they took out two boats and had a fishing competition between the two. We are happy to report that the guys on board the Hooked Up won the competition by catching their limit of kingfish and then adding 7 dolphin fish to the mix. Congratulations on winning the competition and the upcoming marriage!!! Our last trip of the month was Carmon, Carmine, Vinnie and Kevin from Ft. Myers, Florida and they had a great day of fishing catching bonita's and their limit in dolphin fish. What a great month of fishing and we look forward to fishing with everyone again!
