Deep Sea Fishing March

Well here we are in March and last year March was a great month for BIG sharks. So lets see what this March has in store for charter fishing off of Fort Lauderdale this year.

Well we started out the month of charter fishing off of Fort Lauderdale with Mark from Vermont and he caught 4 bonitos and 1 kingfish and a big dolphin. Than we had Ron, Samuel and Ray all from Canada and they had a great day catching 4 kingfish and a monster hammerhead shark. Than Julie, Logan and Brain all from Charleston South Carolina landed a big sailfish.

Than Jared, Kyle and Andrew from Polk County had a very good day of deep sea fishing off of Fort Lauderdale. They caught 2 nice mahia mahia, 1 very big Wahoo and a monster shark. Thanks for a fun day guys and looking forward to fishing with you guys again soon.

Alex and Brain from Wyoming and they also had a great day of fishing with us they ended up with 3 nice dolphin and a big sailfish.

Than Doug and Scott from Chicago caught a very big Wahoo with us. That same afternoon we had a regular customer of ours on board. Jerry from New York brought some good friends of his down to do some fishing with us. Well he wanted his friends Freddy, Michel, Anthony and Dominick to fight something big. Well we did our part we hooked them up with a monster thresher shark. But after about an hour or so right behind the boat the shark broke off. Well I guess that’s why they call it fishing and not catching. After we got over our lose we thought we would try to redeem ourselves we dropped a live bait on a deep wreck and got lucky. We ended up pulling a giant amberjack out of the wreck. Thanks for a great day Jerry looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Well on the 19th Scott from Baltimore spent the morning fishing with us. We started out trolling the reef with no luck. So we decided to go for it all we put out the kites and started fishing with live goggle eyes and it paid off Scott ended up catching a big sailfish.

That same afternoon Steave and Dave from Mass fished with us. We knew that trolling did not pan out for us that morning so we went right to kite fishing. And boy was that the right move we caught 3 sailfish and 3 big dolphins. It is days like this one that make me glad to be able to Charter Fish off of South Florida.

The following day Mark from Boston Mass. Spent the day fishing with us and he had a great day deep sea fishing off of Fort Lauderdale he caught 2 sailfish 2 dolphins and 1 bonito.

The next day James, Lynn, Matt and Bucket Boy Dan from Chester England came fishing with us and man was it a fun day. We caught a total of 5 dolphin 1 of them was well over 30 pounds and we had a great time with you guys looking forward to fishing with you again soon.

The following day Ryan, Jean, Toney and Lad from Florida and from California spent the morning fishing with us and ended up with a big kingfish a real nice dolphin and we fought a monster sailfish for a long time and he ended up getting away right at the boat.(RATS)


That same afternoon Dustin, Alex, Darren and Kevin from Ft Lauderdale and from Texas had a great afternoon Deep Sea Fishing aboard the Hooked Up. They caught 1 kingfish 5 nice dolphin and a very large sailfish.

The following day Dave and his son Dave with their friend Jerry from Stuart Florida caught a big dolphin and a monster hammer head shark.

On the 29th Jim, Whitney, Colin, Piper, Ginny and Ray from New Jersey and from Arkansas had a great time fishing on the Hooked Up they caught 3 dolphin, 2 amberjacks, 1 skipjack tuna and 7 bonitos.

On the last day of the month the Davis family Brent, Catherine, Nathan, Jacob and Andrew from Virginia had a great day of fishing. We started out trolling and caught 1 dolphin. Than we switched to live bait fishing and caught 1 shark and a big big sailfish. Well that’s all for Charter fishing of off Fort Lauderdale for this month.
