| Fishing reports
Well it's finally March and fishing is good. But I'd like to start by saying that Sherrie who writes the fishing reports is moveing on to other things in her life. She is no longer with the Hooked Up fishing team. We wish her all the best and we'd like to thank her for all her help and support. So now I am writing the fishing reports. So, bare with me folks, I will do the best I can and be as accurate as Sherrie was. Sorry about the spelling I'm getting better Captain Taco. To Ray Joel Ryan and Matt from New York Michigan and Fort Lauderdale sorry about the fishing they only caught 1 bonito. Next time I'll make it up to you guys. Well on the 8th fishing started looking up again. Steave, Patty, Steph, Mary, and Cathy from Michigan and Orlando had a day of real bad weather but they did't seem to mind. They had a ball and just drank thier way though the rain and big waves. We offered to come in early but they would have no part of that. They said they were here to have a good time and they were not letting anything get in their way. And boy o boy did they! And they also managed to catch a nice amberjack, a big kingfish and a black tip shark. They had more fun than your average bear. Thanks again guy and we'll see you soon. On the 13th John and Anthony from Atlanta had some tough luck after catching a couple king fish we fought a dusky shark for about 40 min, when we finaly got the fish close to the boat he started spinning and got away. On the 14th Mike, Jeff Greg, Kari, and Steve from New York, Tennessee and Fort Lauderdale went out for a half day fishing trip and were having so much fun they ended up staying all day. We caught a black tip shark, a huge amberjack, some snappers a hand full of snowy groupers and the biggest kitty mitchel grouper I've ever seen. The fish weighed about 6 pounds and that is huage for that kind of grouper and the colors in it were beautiful. Nice going guys see ya soon. On the 20th we had some really nice people who had chartered the Hooked Up, However we had made a mistake with our books. We had booked 2 trips for the same time slot. We had John the quite one and Richard the muscle head both from Michigan and Amanada the pretty one and her husband T J the ranger on leave from Iraq for 2 weeks they were from Chicago. They were both booked for the same time slot so they just split the cost between the 4 of them. And we had a ball even though fishing was not that great but we just enjoyed being together. WE only caught 10 snappers and 1 huge amberjack. Guy thanks for every thing and we look foward to fishing with the 4 of you again in 2 days. Guys thanks again for everthing and we are looking forward to fishing with you again so we can make it up to you. T J you be careful over there in Iraq.
