| 2005 February Fishing Reports
February started out with some pretty rough weather so we were stuck at the docks for the first couple of days. On the 5th we were joined by Frank, Butch, Hoot, Walt, Steve and Kevin from New Jersey and they had a great time catching 3 big bontio's and 2 monster amberjacks. The morning of the 6th James, Dave, Robert, Paul, and Pete from Pittsburgh, PA and Ft. Lauderdale joined us on the Hooked Up. They had a great morning of non-stop action, everytime we put out the live baits for that sailfish that Pete wanted, the baits were getting hit by dolphin fish. They ended up catching 6 nice dolphin fish ranging in size from 12 to 18 pounds. It was a great morning and everyone had dolphin dinner for their superbowl party. The best part is that Pete is going to come back on the 19th and he is bringing his number 1 good luck charm, his son Max and I will have my number 1 good luck charm, my son Luis with me so that sailfish does not have a chance! Our afternoon trip was Christian, Pierre and Ove from Denmark, and they ended the day catching 2 nice dolphins and we got to make it home to watch the superbowl game! Our next trip was on the 9th with Brian and Tom from West Virginia and they landed a dolphin and a nice amberjack.
